Karuizawa Pension Association Accommodation Terms and Conditions |
(Scope of application ) | |||
Article 1 | Accommodation contracts and related contracts that this pension concludes with guests shall be as stipulated in these terms and conditions, and matters not stipulated in these terms and conditions shall be governed by laws and regulations or generally established customs. . | ||
(Application for accommodation contract ) | |||
Article 2 | Those who wish to apply for an accommodation contract with this pension must provide the following information to the pension. | ||
(1 ) | Guest name | ||
(2 ) | Accommodation date and estimated time of arrival | ||
(3 ) | Other matters deemed necessary by this pension | ||
(4 ) | If a guest requests to continue staying beyond the accommodation date in (2) during their stay, our pension will treat the request as having been applied for a new accommodation contract at the time the request is made. | ||
(Refusal to conclude an accommodation contract ) | |||
Article 3 | Our pension may not accept the conclusion of an accommodation contract in the following cases. | ||
(1 ) | When the application for accommodation does not comply with these terms and conditions | ||
(2 ) | When there are no rooms available due to full occupancy | ||
(3 ) | When it is recognized that there is a risk that the person seeking accommodation may violate the provisions of laws and regulations, public order, or good morals regarding accommodation. | ||
(4 ) | When the person seeking accommodation is deemed to fall under any of the following A to C: | ||
stomach | Organized crime groups defined in Article 2, Item 2 of the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of 1991) (hereinafter referred to as "organized crime groups"); Organized crime groups defined in Article 2, Item 6 of the same article (hereinafter referred to as "organized crime group members"), quasi-members of organized crime groups, persons associated with organized crime groups, and other anti-social forces. | ||
B | When an organized crime group or organized crime group member is a corporation or other organization that controls business activities. | ||
Ha | When a corporation has one of its officers who is a member of an organized crime group. | ||
(5 ) | When a person seeking accommodation engages in behavior that causes significant inconvenience to other guests. | ||
(6 ) | When the person seeking accommodation is clearly recognized as a patient of an infectious disease. | ||
(7 ) | When violent demands are made regarding accommodation or a burden that exceeds a reasonable range is demanded. | ||
(8 ) | When accommodation is not possible due to natural disasters, facility failures, or other unavoidable reasons. | ||
(Right to cancel contract of this pension ) | |||
Article 4 | This pension shall cancel the accommodation contract if it is determined that the guest falls under any of the following reasons. | ||
① | Antisocial forces such as organized crime groups | ||
② | Corporations and other organizations whose business activities are controlled by organized crime groups or organized crime members | ||
③ | When a corporation has one of its officers who is a member of an organized crime group. | ||
④ | If the person engages in behavior that causes significant inconvenience to other guests; | ||
⑤ | If you make violent demands or demand a burden that exceeds a reasonable range against the pension or its employees. | ||
(Refusal and cancellation of banquet use contract ) | |||
Article 5 | This pension will not accept the conclusion of a banquet usage contract if the following circumstances are deemed to apply. In addition, if it is determined that this applies after the banquet use contract has been concluded, the contract will be canceled. | ||
① | If any of the guests attending the banquet hall falls under the following circumstances: | ||
○ | Organized crime groups, organized crime members, companies/organizations affiliated with organized crime groups or their related persons, and other anti-social forces | ||
○ | Corporations and other organizations whose business activities are controlled by organized crime groups or organized crime members | ||
○ | If a corporation has one of its officers who is a member of an organized crime group | ||
② | If the person engages in behavior that causes significant inconvenience to other users of the pension. | ||
③ | If the person makes violent demands or demands a burden that exceeds a reasonable range against the pension or its employees. | ||
(Registration of accommodation ) | |||
Article 6 | Guests must register the following information at the front desk of our pension on the day of their stay. | ||
(1 ) | Guest's name, age, gender, address and occupation | ||
(2 ) | Departure date and scheduled departure time | ||
(3 ) | For foreigners, nationality, passport number, place of entry, and date of entry | ||
(4 ) | Other matters deemed necessary by this pension | ||
(Compliance with usage rules ) | |||
Article 7 | Guests must abide by the usage rules established by the pension and posted within the pension while inside the pension. | ||
(Responsibilities of our pension ) | |||
Article 8 | The pension will compensate the guest for any damage caused to the guest due to the performance of the accommodation contract and related contracts, or due to non-performance thereof. However, this does not apply if it is not due to reasons attributable to the pension. Our pension has inn liability insurance to deal with the unlikely event of a fire. | ||
(What to do when the contracted room is not available ) | |||
Article 9 | If the pension is unable to provide the guest room contracted with the guest, it will arrange for other accommodation facilities with the same conditions as possible with the guest's consent. | ||
(Parking responsibilities ) | |||
Article 10 | When a guest uses the parking lot of our pension, regardless of whether or not the key of the vehicle is entrusted to the guest, the pension rents the space to the guest and does not assume any responsibility for managing the vehicle. | ||
(Guest responsibilities ) | |||
Article 11 | If our pension suffers damage due to the guest's intentional or negligent actions, we will ask our pension to compensate for the damage. | ||
Supplementary provisions | Regarding reservation cancellation fees (from the Karuizawa Pension Association Management Regulations) For cancellations of accommodation reservations, Karuizawa Pension Association members will charge the cancellation fee to the person making the accommodation reservation. The period and rate of cancellation fees are determined by each pension that is a member of the association. |
