It is a 30 minute walk from Pension Sengataki/Sengataki to the 20m Sengataki Falls via a forest road from the villa road.

The Sengataki area is rich in greenery even in Karuizawa.
If you walk along the path through the sunlight filtering through the villas, you might even spot primroses.

5 minutes to Star Hot Spring Tombo no Yu, Sengataki Onsen, Harunire Terrace, and Stone Church (Karuizawa Kogen Church).

This is a homely pension run by two couples from Osaka.

We also have dormitories (mixed rooms for men and women, 4-person shared rooms for women only) that can be used by a single person, such as attending a wedding, participating in events such as marathons, tennis, cycling, and hiking the Nakasendo Trail. A stay without meals style where you can enjoy your holiday in Karuizawa freely.
Please make your own bed. A simple stay where towels, toothbrushes, and nightwear (yukata) are charged separately. Enjoy shopping and activities with the money you save.

The guest room does not have a bath, toilet, or sink. The bath is reserved for private use with a key, and you can use it at any time you like from 16:00 to 9:00 the next morning. *There is no TV in the building.

It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to popular Hoshino areas such as Harunire Terrace, Karuizawa Kogen Church, and Tombo no Yu. It's a luxury to take a walk before breakfast.
After checking out, you can leave your luggage with us, so you can take your time the next day.

The name "Piccolo Hotel Opera Karuizawa" is inspired by music. Musical instruments such as cellos and grand pianos can be found throughout the hotel.
